Here is my latest new project. It has to do with growing up and being afraid of what was under my bed. I was introduced to the idea of God vs. the devil at an early age and was worried that instead of the usual garden-variety monsters under my bed, it was actually the devil getting ready to pull my legs as I hopped into bed. I decided not to depict it as a devil in this image because I like the look of a wolf better aesthetically and I think it goes along well with fairy tale themes and the idea that most kids are afraid of monsters.
